I was very saddened to hear of the death of Paul Hester, drummer for the legendary NZ/Australian band Crowded House. He always came across as a very charismatic and witty man, and his suicide leaves a big hole in the Australian music scene.
My thoughts go out to his family and friends in this very traumatic time.

Yes, its a great shame. I feel very lucky to have attended the Finn Brothers concert late last year where Paul joined them on stage to perform a few songs. It was a great on the night, and I guess it will always hold special memories now, considering such a moment will not arise again.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing that you might be interested in knowing Jiggy, is that I read on the net that Paul had recently filmed an episode of RockWiz for SBS. Will be interesting to see if they show that now....I hope they do.
